The most important thing that you need is additional streams of income. A job is only temporary. You can never know what might happen to your job. In the 1950s, 60s and 70s, jobs were more stable and you could have a job that would last 10 or 20 years, maybe even 50 years. But today, that’s not the way it is because of the global economy. You are competing for jobs with the entire world.

For example, there are people in China who are competing with people in Australia. People in Australia are competing with people in Kuala Lumpur. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO SUCCEED IN NETWORK MARKETING?

It is a fact that if you want to succeed in any home-based business or network marketing, you must keep searching for specific knowledge that would help you explodes your business.

But most people starting a network marketing business don’t get effective, competent training. They think mlm is a walk in the park, they think mlm is a free ride to the gravy train. But it’s not. There’s work involved in network marketing. If you don’t have a system, you don’t have a business.

DO YOU PROPOSE ON THE “FIRST DATE?



The biggest mistake that most network marketers make is to propose on the “first date”!
They usually bypass the entire process of building trust with their prospects and instead, pounce on them, going straight for the close: “Join me! Join me! Join me! “Sound like "Marry me, marry me" on the first date.

They’re so desperate to make a sale or for someone to join their opportunity on the first date that, the only thing they know is to “pitch”,, talk about their opportunity  to the prospect.
It's no wonder why most of them fail; they’re so impatient, they propose on the “first date”!
People buy your product or join your opportunity if they like you, trust you and believe you. In fact people buy when they are ready to buy not when you are ready to make a sale.
The question is you going to be right there in front of a prospect when he’s ready to buy or to join you your opportunity?
  
Without a proper marketing system, a solid follow up system, you won’t be there when your prospect is ready to buy or join your opportunity.

IF YOU HAVE NO MARKETING SYSTEM, YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS.

 Most people starting network marketing get excited about making money. As soon as they get started, they run into the problem of having the wrong marketing mindset.
They think that marketing is like pitching people every day about how great is their products or opportunity, but the reality is, marketing as the primary function of ALL businesses should be focused on attracting free leads to you.
The fact is you have to become a skilled marketer (not a salesperson) if you want to enjoy long term success in this industry.
Experienced marketers succeed, but people who believe that their success is completely dependent on picking the best; or the perfect opportunity, will always lose in the long run.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE PRICE OBJECTIONS? HOW DO YOU RESPOND TO PRICE OBJECTION?

"That’s too expensive “is one of the main objection that you’ll face every day in your network marketing business.
However, most network marketers are not prepared in advance to answer this question. If you don’t’ know what to say, when in front of the customer, it’s too late.
Prepare in advance what you’ll say, so that when the moment comes, it will roll off your tongue and you’ll enjoy the conversation. Once your prospect comes back with: “that’s too expensive”, how do you currently reply to that?
First you have to create value in the mind of your prospects so that when you reveal your price they actually think you were going to come out with something much larger.
The only way to reply to it is to find out just how “too expensive” it really is.
Here’re some approaches that you can try:
·         What price can you afford?
·         What would you be willing to pay?
·         What did you have in mind?
·         How much too expensive is it?
·         If the price wasn’t the issue would you go with what we have covered?
Once you get to know the ball park figures you are working with, you can then think about what deal you could offer your prospect in term of:
·         Price
·         Discount
·         Credit terms
·         Added value products and services
·         Support.
